Heather Jalisi is Vice President of Regulatory & Market Access at Acurion, where she leads regulatory, quality, and reimbursement strategy for innovative diagnostic and precision medicine solutions.

With over 25 years of experience in the medical device and in vitro diagnostics industry, Heather has held leadership roles at Leica Biosystems, Amalgam Rx, Becton Dickinson, and Naviscan. She has successfully guided high-impact, complex products through global regulatory strategies, submissions, and approvals, with expertise spanning digital pathology, diagnostic imaging, SaMD platforms, and AI/ML-enabled technologies.

 

An accomplished professional in regulatory policy and advocacy, Heather has been a long-standing contributor to industry organizations such as AdvaMed, MedTech Europe, and the Digital Pathology Association. She is dedicated to shaping the policy landscape to ensure that the next generation of precision medicine reaches the patients and providers who need it most.

 

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
